The quiet suburb of Willowbrook is reeling after a string of bizarre pet disappearances. Over a dozen pets have vanished, only to return days later with strange symbols carved into their fur.
“It’s like they’ve been marked,” said one distraught owner. “And they’re not the same. My cat hisses at me now, and it never did before.”
Veterinarians are baffled, and some pets have become aggressive. One family claims their dog growled in a human voice, saying, “It’s almost your turn.”
Authorities are investigating, but no leads have been found. Residents are locking their doors and keeping their pets close, fearing whatever—or whoever—is behind this isn’t finished.
